Currently Channeling: Michael Jackson

Givenchy SS2010 & Fall 09 Couture, Balmain, Chloe Pre-Fall 2008 Boots, Anna Dello Russo & Rihanna (All images via Google)

Music, dance, fashion, art - all have at one time or another called upon the King, Michael Jackson, for inspiration. While we're a fan of all of these mediums, our favorite is fashion. It seems as if designers have been paying homage to Michael over the past few seasons - and we don't blame them! His style was innovative and revolutionary, much like his music. You can't ignore the impact he had on all forms of art, fashion included. Here's to Michael!

Speaking of Mr. Jackson, will you be seeing This Is It this week? We sure will be! We may even wear our tribute shirts.

Look We Love: All Torn Up

(left image courtesy of Stockholm Street Style)

You know, we aren't too sure how sexy we feel after a long Saturday catching up on errands and downing a couple of cocktails but we do know we feel incredibly lazy. We immediately grab our basics, throw them on and call it a day. That's why we're so in love with this torn up twist on basic pieces. Anything that spices up something bland is right up our alley. And don't get us started on how absolutely effortless pulling off this style is. Our current favorite? The Lazy Sexy Ripped Sleeve T ($22). Perfect for days like this!

MOTD: Casual State of Mind

I know, I know - it's only Wednesday. But if you're like us, then you're aching to get out of those business casual duds and slip into something a little more comfortable. Luckily for you, we've already pulled together a few of our favorite pieces from the store with our casual mood in mind.

Just because you want to slip on a tee and some jeans, doesn't mean you have to look frumpy. Add some spice with the Tupac Rosary ($33) from Cubannie Links and our Coco Knocker Earrings ($39). Speaking of tees, why not go for something that's beyond basic? Our favorites this week are the Lira Cat T-Shirt ($28) and the Dimepiece Logo Tank ($27.90) - which by the way, is on sale.

Sigh, who knew casual dressing could be so fun?
